First meeting

The chiropractor is a first-contact professional, which means you do not need to be referred by your doctor for a consultation.

Our patients can consult us as preventive or curative .

As a first step, you will have a health questionnaire to fill in when you arrive.

Then, different questions will be asked by the chiropractor thus constituting the anamnesis. The history of your condition will be detailed, a profile of your health will be made and your medical history will be reviewed to determine your situation.

Subsequently, a physical examination will be performed with different neurological and orthopedic tests to clarify the cause of your condition.  Xrays may be necessary depending on the clinical judgment of the doctor.

All this is for the purpose of issuing an accurate diagnosis and offering you the best possible therapeutic option.

Generally, there will be a treatment at the first meeting. Almost entirely manual, it usually breaks down into two parts. First, a targeted muscle and ligament treatment and then a precise joint therapy that consists of chiropractic adjustments. This type of joint mobilization releases articular fixations, restores movement and releases accumulated tension. Being of high velocity and low amplitude, the adjustment also allows a noticeable muscular relaxation.
